MAHOE: RAISING THE VIBRATION

A native tree that restores our inner spark and raises our vibration.
Mahoe is a native tree that is found growing throughout New Zealand lowland and coastal bush. A common name for Mahoe is whiteywood, which refers to the large splotches of white lichen that develop on the trunk and branches as the trees mature.
Mahoe flowers are small and pale green or cream coloured, covering the branches of trees during spring, and producing small purple-blue berries. Mahoe are very generous with their flowers, many trees will have two flowering periods per year, one in spring and another in late summer.
Mahoe’s scientific name, Melicytus ramiflorus, roughly translates to ‘branch-flowering honey-cave’. Mahoe's highly scented flowers have a cup (or cave) like interior shape which pools nectar, especially at night, providing food for a wide range of insects, birds and geckos.
Mahoe is the Inner Fire Essence. Mahoe restores the inner spark and activates the chi or life-force when we have lost our get-up-and-go. Mahoe connects us with our spirit and empowers our intent to be of service. It activates the excitation of light within the being and activates the light bodies.
Mahoe helps us raise our vibration, enter the shamanic state and access the web of oneness. I work with Mahoe to support shamanic journeying or to raise my consciousness before healing, ritual or creative work. I also use Mahoe regularly in a spray to raise my vibration and the vibration of my work space.
Mahoe is a powerful ally that often steps forward for people who are stuck in a rut or stuck in low vibration situations or states of consciousness. It facilitates a quickening, a shift, a rising of vibration that allows movement beyond heavy or stuck energetic habits and patterns.
