COOK STRAIT GROUNDSEL: SELF BELIEF & CONFIDENCE

Cook Strait Groundsel is a native shrub with daisy-like golden flowers that bloom during summer. It has silver-edged grey leaves and white downy hairs on the underside that protect the plant in hot weather. It reaches up to 1.5 metres and 2 metres across.
Cook Strait Groundsel is a relatively rare native, inhabiting rocky sites of the southern North Island. Primarily a coastal species found on rocky outcrops and bluffs where it tolerates salt spray and maritime winds. Confined to the southern North Island from near Flat Point south to the mouth of the Orongorongo River.
Cook Strait Groundsel is associated with the astrological sign of Aries and it is a constitutional essence for those born between 10th - 19th April. It’s also a plant ally for those who have planets in the sign of Aries between 20°-29°59’.
