Harvested from Boswellia carterii trees of Ethiopia, this fragrant resin is renowned for its warm, fresh, light, and citrus-woody aroma with soft pine-like notes. OPOPONAX | Commiphora guidottii
Known as “sweet myrrh,” Opoponax is a deep, sensuous resin traditionally called Hagar in Somalia. Darker in colour and aroma than true myrrh, it offers a rich, earthy, musky, and slightly sweet fragrance prized since antiquity. Often burned to awaken intuition, heighten sensory perception, and protect against negative influences.

A sacred gum-resin native to Northern Africa, the Middle East, and India, Myrrh has been cherished since ancient times for its healing, ritual, and spiritual uses. Its warm, resinous aroma is believed to uplift the soul, restore vitality, and deepen spiritual connection.
